Michael Driscoll married Catherine McCarthy July 16 1871. At RCC of Castlehaven, District: Union Hall.
Witnesses. Patrick Hegarty & Margaret McCarthy.
Michael was a bootmaker. Resident of Skibbereen.

Catherine was a servant from Farrandilgeen , south of Castlehaven.

Michael and Catherine lived in Windmill Lane, Skibbereen. Only one of their sons, James, had children. James was an accountant and an active townsman of Skibbereen.

John and Jeremiah never married and were bootmakers in Skibbereen.

Denis, Michael and Patrick are all said to have served in the Boer War. Denis did not return. Michael and Patrick returned and worked as telegraph operators in Skibbereen and surrounding towns. Neither had children.
