Earliest known ancestor: Patrick D. Driscoll b. 1796, Cork d. 01 Nov 1885 Merrickville, Ontario, Canada. Probably emigrated from Cork with brothers Daniel and John

He was a stableboy and became a tailor. Later emigrated and settled in Monague Twp., Lanark. The family became known as horse trainers. Patrick may have emigrated with brothers Daniel (b. 1795) and John (b. 1797 - d. 1886), about 1818.
