Patrick C. Driscoll was born abt.1830 in Cork and died in Boston 26 May 1888. His father was Thomas Driscoll according to his death record. Boston made an error on the death certificate and incorrectly listed Patrick's mother as Sarah. According to the original vital register (Family Search Massachusetts Deaths, 1841-1915), her name was Honora. Boston apparently grabbed the mother's name Sarah from the record above the one for Patrick C. Driscoll in the ledger. Boston has since corrected it.

A family tree is on Ancestry UK. We have been unable to trace Thomas Driscoll and wife Honora in Ireland. Have tried several variations of Honora - Hanora, Hannah, Ann, Nora, Norry, etc. The haplogroup is unusual for Driscoll. A brother of the project member has also tested and confirmed the relationship. Confirmation from distant male relatives sharing this ancestry would be useful.
