The small island in the center of the Lough are the ruins of a castle named Cloghan Stony Place. In the DNA project the ancestor of kit 105554 is Jeremiah Driscoll from Loch Hyne born about 1835 the son of Timothy and Mary Driscoll. Jeremiah had a sister Joanna born about 1847. |
